Unzip and upload softwareUnzip and upload everything to your webhost. You should create or use a virtual directory. After uploading all files, run gnews.sql within SQL Manager. Sqlscript is localted under SQL directory. Also we have added an online setup script. We highly recomend your to run sql script with your hosting company's database manager or with SQL Manager.
Final Step:
Now, web.config file plays a major role in our application. Because this file hold very important informations for our application. You need to update database connection. Do worry about this step. You will only edit username, password and database connection parameters. Simple find "e;gnewsConnectionString"e; in web.config file. Example connection string is below:
Data Source=GZ\SQLEXPRESS;Initial Catalog=NewsManager;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=sa;Password=123456Enter your database settings. Your web site is ready to run.
